Don't be fooled by cheap imitators.  This cable has an original OEM Apple I.C. inside to guarantee 100% compatibility with iOS 12 and beyond.  The cheaper cables either don't include this important I.C. or use cheap copies and with each iOS update more and more of these cheap cables will stop working.  Our supplier uses only original I.C.'s in all of the Apple cables we sell.
